2 bodies found at two places in Haldwani

Two bodies were found at two different places in Haldwani town on Saturday. While the body of a young man was found in Jagannath Gali behind the Gurudwara near Ramlila Maidan the other body was of a 49-year-old woman found in Damuadhunga forest under Kathgodam police station limits. Police said they have started investigation.
As per information received from police, the deceased youth was identified as Subhash, resident of Kolkata, West Bengal. He was a jeweller. His body had been sent for post-mortem, police said, adding that they were probing the case from all angles.
In the second case, the deceased woman was a resident of Bhotia Padav. According to her family members, she went to the hospital for medicines at around 12:30 PM on Friday but did not return home. Later, she was found
unconscious near a forest. She was taken to a private hospital where doctors declared her dead. As per the preliminary investigation, she might have consumed a poisonous substance. Investigation was on, police said.
