With the conclusion of the Uttarakhand Vidyalaya Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) board examinations for Class X and Class XII on Friday, the evaluation of answer sheets will take place at 29 evaluation centres across the State from March 27, 2026, to April 10, 2026, said secretary Vinod Simalti.
He said that the board examinations for these classes commenced on February 21. The examinations were held at 1,261 centres throughout the State, with 1,12,266 candidates appearing for the class X examination and 1,02,986 for the class XII examination.
In the next phase, 6,70,028 answer sheets of class X and 5,14,787 of class XII will be evaluated from the said dates. To facilitate this process, 1,937 teachers have been appointed for class X and 1,725 for class XII.
He further added that the evaluation will be conducted under CCTV surveillance. Additionally, to ensure thorough evaluation, 50 per cent of the evaluated answer sheets will be checked at each centre. Security arrangements will also be in place at every evaluation centre and a supervisor has been assigned to monitor the entire evaluation process and report back to the council.
Simalti expressed gratitude to all department officials, institutional heads, teachers and office staff who played a direct or indirect role in the successful and orderly conduct of the examinations.
