CM orders administration for quick resolution of public grievances

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the State administration to ensure quick and effective solution of the public grievances.

The CM gave the order while hearing the grievances of the people from various parts of the state at his residence on Friday.

He directed the officers of his office, the Garhwal Commissioner and the Inspector General Garhwal present there to ensure priority action in resolving public complaints. On a stern note, the CM directed the officers that there should be no unnecessary delay in resolving public problems and that timely relief should be provided to the concerned people. 

The Kedarnath MLA Asha Nautiyal met the CM with a delegation. She expressed her gratitude to CM Dhami for the successful and safe conduct of this year’s Kedarnath Yatra as well as the Chardham Yatra so far, and for the arrangements made for the pilgrims. She said that the State government’s continuous monitoring and better management of the Yatra arrangements has helped in providing facilities to the pilgrims.

Tharali MLA Bhupal Ram Tamta also met with the CM along with a delegation. He expressed his gratitude to the CM for the efforts made by the State government in prioritizing local interests on this important issue related to the Bugyals.

The delegation stated that the Bugyals of Uttarakhand are the State’s natural and cultural heritage, and a large number of local people are connected to their livelihoods and tourism activities. They said that the state government, under the leadership of CM Dhami, is continuously working to balance environmental protection with the interests of local employment, tourism and livelihoods. 

Public representatives stated that the government’s efforts toward development, taking into account the geographical and local conditions of the mountainous regions, are commendable. They expressed confidence that better coordination between local interests, environmental protection and tourism will increase new employment opportunities in the mountainous regions and further strengthen the local economy.

Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey, Garhwal commissioner Anand Swaroop, IG Garhwal Rajiv Swaroop, additional secretary JC Kandpal and other officers of the CM’s office were present on the occasion.
