After days of political turmoil and uncertainty, chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat tendered his resignation to governor Baby rani Maurya on Tuesday evening.
Though the BJP State president Banshidhar Bhagat had denied plan for leadership change till Monday, the much speculated change in leadership in Uttarakhand is now confirmed.
The BJP legislature party is slated to meet on Wednesday morning to finalise the name of the next CM of Uttarakhand.
