Delegation of Teerth Purohits meets Godiyal

A delegation of the Teerth Purohits met the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Ganesh Godiyal at Congress headquarters here on Friday and expressed their gratitude for the party’s support on the issue of the Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board.
The delegation led by president of the Mahapanchayat Samiti, Krishnakant Kothiyal, Harish Dimri and others said that the Congress party stood with them in their protest against the bill. Speaking on the occasion Godiyal said that the BJP ruled union and state governments have proved to be failures on every front. He said that BJP foisted farm laws and Devasthanam board on the people and behaved dictatorially but now defeat is staring them in the face as its leaders were forced to repeal them.
The PCC president said that the repeal of the farm laws and the Devasthanam board expose the failure of BJP and victory of the people. The Vice President of Uttarakhand Congress Prithvi Pal Chauhan, Surendra Kumar, Rajpal Bisht, spokesperson Lakhpat Butola and others were present on the occasion.
