The passing out contingent of 278 recruits consisted of 94 Jawans from Bihar, 74 from Uttar Pradesh, 44 from Madhya Pradesh, 24 from Uttarakhand, 21 from Rajasthan and 20 from Jammu and Kashmir.
The trainees underwent a rigorous training of 44 weeks in various disciplines. The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over the award of overall best trainee to Sachin Saini. The award of best internal training was given to Subham Tiwari. The contingent took a pledge to protect the nation in the ceremony.
