The State Health department of Uttarakhand reported 12 new patients of the Covid-19 in the state on Wednesday. Death of no patient was reported from in the state on the day. The authorities also declared 16 patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 92,563 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 88,953 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 275 patients have died in the state since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96.10 per cent on Wednesday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 0.71 per cent on the day. The Health department reported seven new patients from Dehradun, two each from Haridwar and Nainital and one from Udham Singh Nagar on Wednesday.
Dehradun with 58 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Haridwar has 15 and Nainital six active cases of the disease. Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Rudraprayag districts have no active cases of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 16,855 people were vaccinated in 1008 sessions in the state held on Wednesday.
