THDC India Limited celebrated its 35th foundation day with fervour at the corporate office in Rishikesh, projects and unit offices. THDCIL chairman and managing director Rajeev Vishnoi hoisted the THDCIL flag in Rishikesh and addressed the gathering of employees and their families on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering Vishnoi said that the corporation has seen countless ups and downs in the last 34 years. He added that the corporation has lived a period of fierce struggles and challenges as well as saw the aura of successes and achievements also during this phase. He said that in the last one year, there has been a significant change in the reputation of the corporation, due to which the corporation has been recognised today as a major player in the hydro sector. On this occasion, he also remembered the contributions of all the former CMDs of the corporation.
Vishnoi and director (Finance) J Behera also felicitated the winners of various competitions and meritorious students on the occasion. Various cultural activities were performed on this occasion. The event was live-streamed for all the employees at all the locations of the corporation. Veer Singh, CGM (HR & A) delivered the vote of thanks.
