Bageshwar kotwali recovered 125 cans of illegal rosin from a vehicle during checking at Amsarkot barrier on Girichina Road. Under the direction of the superintendent of police, Bageshwar, a police team led by the inspector-in-charge Kailash Singh Negi stopped the vehicle. A search revealed a large quantity of rosin stuffed inside tin cans.
The accused was identified as Suraj Kumar, a resident of Malla Pachinia, Chorgalia police station, Nainital district. Later, the accused was taken into custody and handed him over to the Forest department for further action.
