The Bharatiya Janata Party has termed the alleged assault on Primary Education director Ajay Kumar Naudiyal as unfortunate and criticised it. The party has also decided to seek an explanation from its Raipur MLA Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’ regarding the incident. The BJP has also appealed to Education department employees to observe patience.

The BJP State president and Rajya Sabha member Mahendra Bhatt stressed that the party is strongly against any anarchy or violence. He said that raising issues of the public may be one aspect but nobody can be allowed to break the law for this purpose. The party has taken serious cognisance of the incident and will soon seek an answer from its MLA regarding the incident, Bhatt said. “Detailed information will be sought from the MLA regarding the circumstances which led to this situation. The law will take its course in this entire incident. The party supports strict action against those found guilty in this case,” he added.

The BJP State president also appealed to the Education department employees to observe patience. He said that the teachers will also have to display control to ensure that this incident does not affect the board examinations as this is related to the future of the students. The party is in favour of stern action against those guilty in this instance, he said, while adding that considering the future of the students is also important along with the legal action.
