CIMS and UIHMT group of colleges organised a tree plantation to mark Harela on Thursday. The group head Lalit Mohan Joshi planted a sapling at the CIMS campus while exhorting the public to plant and nurture trees.
This festival teaches the people to live in balance with nature while reminding them of their responsibility towards conserving the environment.
Stating that environmental conservation is the most important requirement for human life, he said people planting and committing to nurture the trees can play an important role in increasing greenery and tackling global warming.
