The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 (level First and Second) will be held on September 29 in 29 cities of the State.
The officials of the Uttarakhand Vidyalaya Shiksha Parishad (UVSP), Ramnagar informed that the examination will be conducted from 10 AM to 12:30 PM for UTET-I and from 2 PM to 4:30 PM for UTET-II. A total of 24,638 candidates have been registered for UTET-I and 42,607 candidates for UTET-II. A total of 107 examination centres have been set up for UTET-I and 162 for UTET-II, while the total number of examination centres is 163.
The UVSP officials informed that candidates can contact the nodal centre of their allotted city to resolve examination-related issues from September 27 to September 28 from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Director of Higher Education and chairman of UVSP, Vinod Prasad Simalti, reviewed the preparations for the examination in a recent online meeting. He said this examination is extremely sensitive and important. Secretary UVSP, Vinod Kumar Dhoundiyal said that the chief education officers will be the chief controller of the examination in the district. He said instructions have been given to the CEOs to coordinate with administrative officials to maintain the sanctity of the examination.
