To mark the celebration of the silver jubilee year of Uttarakhand’s statehood, the Udham Singh Nagar District Co-operative Bank Ltd took out a Cooperative Rath from the bank’s headquarters in Rudrapur on Thursday. The general manager of the bank, Sandeep Kumar flagged off the commemorative rath in the presence of senior officers of NABARD.
He said that the objective behind launching the rath was to celebrate the State’s 25 years and also to take to the people of the district the schemes rolled out by the Cooperative department. “We want to ensure that the schemes’ benefits reach the people from the remote areas of Udham Singh Nagar district,” he added.
