Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat has said that the newly recruited block resource person (BRP) and cluster resource person (CRP) will act as a bridge between the schools and the Education department. He said that these officers will also help in making the education interesting and ensure improvement in the education system in the State.
The minister attended the inaugural ceremony of the three day BRP- CRP orientation programme at SCER auditorium on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion the minister said that the department has recruited 955 CRP- BRP through the outsourcing agency. The recruitment was done through the Prayag portal. He said that in order to bring transparency in recruitment the department selected the candidates on the basis of merit and for this a proposal was brought in the meeting of the State cabinet.
The director SCERT Vandana Gabriyal informed the newly recruited CRP and BRP about different activities of the department. The additional project director of Samagra Shiksha Kuldeep Gairola said that the objective of the CRPs and BRPs is to provide indirect support to teachers, students and schools.
