Shree Kainchi Hanuman Temple and Ashram Trust, Kainchi Dham donated X-ray and ultrasound machines to the Government BD Pandey District Hospital in Nainital. The trust functionaries said that they had taken the initiative after they had received a letter from the district hospital management stating that the hospital needed certain machines to cater to the medical needs of the patients who thronged the hospital for subsidised treatment. “We took the initiative promptly and provided the machines as part of our mission of service. The X-ray and ultrasound machines costing Rs 68 lakh were provided to the hospital, along with a three-year maintenance allowance,” a senior trust functionary said and added they would continue to provide all possible assistance to the district hospital in future.
On this occasion, the PMS of the District Hospital, Dr Tarun Kumar Tamta, expressed gratitude to the trust on behalf of the District Hospital.
