The two-day ‘Global HR Meet/Placement Drive-2026’ commenced at Shri Venkateshwara University on Friday and on the first day itself, HR heads and directors from over 50 institutions, including IT, management, health, dairy and food processing, pharmaceuticals and nursing participated among others. Through panel discussions, written tests, and personality development sessions, 422 out of 1,200 students from various fields have qualified for the next round of interviews.
Sounding happy with the simultaneous participation of over 100 renowned companies in the campus drive, the chairman, Venkateshwara group of institutions, Sudhir Giri stated that skilled Indian youth have unlimited opportunities for respectable employment both domestically and internationally.
In this two-day long HR meet/placement drive, the companies participating include Apollo Hospital, Yashoda Medicity, Asian Hospital and Max Health Care,
Speaking on the occasion, the pro-chancellor of Shri Venkateshwara University, Rajeev Tyagi said that amidst the conflict engulfing half of the world, India is rapidly moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world on the strength of research, innovation and skills.
