Patanjali launched Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling in the presence of senior Indian Dental Association members like its Uttarakhand branch president, Dr Rajiv Bansal; secretary, Dr Vishwajeet Walia and treasurer Dr Vaibhav Pahwa aside from Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna here on Monday. Hailing the launch, Baba Ramdev said that it was a wonderful fusion of ancient Ayurvedic tradition and modern science. “Patanjali is presenting not just an effective treatment but harmony of culture, tradition and science to the world,” he said, adding that this dental product confirms the thriving relevance of the ancient Sanatani knowledge
Echoing the Patanjali founder’s view, Acharya Balkrishna said that this product was the result of three years of tireless efforts and dedication of the scientists working for Patanjali Research Institute. He further said that Gandush had been described as a major process for oral health in the original texts of Ayurveda like Charak Samhita and Sushruta Samhita. “In the present time, a majority of the people are suffering from dental problems in form or another and for them Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling provides a natural, safe and effective solution. This is the latest and innovative product of Patanjali’s Dant Kanti series,” he added. Also, he said that it contains tumburu oil which strengthens teeth and gums; clove oil which provides relief from toothache; peppermint oil which removes bad breath; Eucalyptus oil which is full of anti-bacterial properties and prevents the growth of bacteria and Tulsi oil which protects teeth from decay and infection.
On this occasion, the secretary, IDA, Walia said that Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling is a research and evidence- based Ayurvedic medicine which would be helpful in oral pyorrhoea and various other dental problems.
