The newly appointed Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Ganesh Godiyal met former chief minister Harish Rawat at his defence colony residence on Wednesday. In the meeting Godiyal sought blessings of the former CM for his new innings. Godiyal also visited the residence of the outgoing PCC president Karan Mahara who has been appointed as a specially invited member in the All India Congress Committee (AICC). The new PCC president also met former PCC president and the head of the campaign committee of the Congress party Pritam Singh on Wednesday. Large number of Congress party leaders and workers met Godiyal on the day to express their wishes for the new assignment.
