Kalolwala & Associates (K&A), an annual reports and ESG consulting firm, has entered into a strategic partnership with technology company Travanleo Info Solutions to introduce AI-powered sustainability reporting solutions for businesses across India.
Under the agreement, K&A will serve as Travanleo’s exclusive partner in India for the implementation and delivery of Ecodrisil ESG Xpress, an artificial intelligence-based platform designed to support environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting and compliance.
The partnership comes as Indian companies face increasing regulatory requirements and investor expectations related to sustainability disclosures, including compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) framework.
According to the companies, the collaboration combines K&A’s expertise in annual reporting, sustainability reporting and ESG advisory with Travanleo’s technology capabilities in AI-driven data management and sustainability reporting.
Ecodrisil ESG Xpress enables organisations to automate the tracking of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions and generate reports aligned with multiple reporting standards. The platform also offers automated data collection, AI-assisted report drafting and digital audit trails intended to improve reporting accuracy and transparency.
Jumana Vadnagarwala, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder of K&A, said the partnership would help Indian companies address the growing complexity of ESG compliance requirements.
“Businesses are navigating an increasingly demanding sustainability reporting environment, particularly with the implementation of BRSR requirements. Combining advanced technology with local advisory support can help simplify the reporting process and improve the quality of disclosures,” she said.
Hussain Kalolwala, CEO and Co-Founder of K&A, said the collaboration would support companies in integrating sustainability reporting into their broader business strategy.
Sankar Krishnan, CEO of Travanleo Info Solutions, said India represents an important market in the global ESG ecosystem and that the partnership would help organisations adopt more structured and technology-driven sustainability practices.
The companies said organisations using the platform would be able to align their reporting with national and international frameworks, including BRSR, GRI, SASB, CDP and GRESB, while reducing dependence on manual data management processes.
The partnership is expected to support Indian businesses in strengthening ESG disclosures, improving compliance readiness and enhancing transparency in sustainability reporting.
