KGCCI’s new president to prioritise rail, road connectivity

The newly elected president of the executive committee of Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the 2026-27 term, Vineet Kumar Sangal said that he would prioritise the pressing industry issues with the appropriate government and administration levels. “I will work to ensure rail and road connectivity, uninterrupted power supply, and payment of pending industrial incentive claims,” he added. Speaking on the occasion, the former president of the body, Vikas Jindal said that active participation of all the members is necessary for the industrial development of the state and for solving the problems the industries face. He elaborated on its work since its inception.
Other speakers said that the entrepreneurs are facing various problems in the single window system developed by the government to solve the problems of industries and hence it should be improved by the department.
