Terming allegations levelled by Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge baseless, the Bharatiya Janata Party pointed out that while he remembered the values during the era of BJP leaders like former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani, he had forgotten the corrupt values of the Congress.
BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that the Congress should learn from the values of the late Vajpayee, adding that he and Advani are undisputed faces of Indian politics. “Those who insulted the former Chief of Defence Staff and the pride of the mountains- General Bipin Rawat, pursue an anti-Sanatan view are giving knowledge on patriotism and religion.
The Congress national president has said things on patriotism, religion and corruption but this does not match his party’s character and history. Those who opposed construction of the Ram Mandir, negated the existence of Lord Ram and still dare not visit Ayodhya out of concern for their Muslim vote bank are now shedding crocodile tears over the donation theft in the temple. He should have told the Congress workers to stay away from corruption as it was because of this that the people have voted it nearly out of existence. Congress governments nurtured corruption in Uttarakhand. Its past governments had protected the copy mafia to the detriment of the rights of the State’s youth.
On the other hand, the BJP government has brought the nation’s strictest anti-copying law and ensured a fair and transparent recruitment process. Due to this, not a single instance of paper leak has taken place during the past four years,” Chauhan said. He claimed that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s government is setting developmental records. The people trust the BJP due to its zero tolerance for corruption and jobs for women and youth, he added.
