Maharaj hospitalised at AIIMS- Rishikesh, condition stable

Senior cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj was hospitalised at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh on Wednesday after he had some breathing issues. He is undergoing treatment at the ICU of the hospital and his condition is reportedly stable.
A team of senior doctors headed by head of department of medicine, AIIMS Rishikesh, Dr Ravikant is keeping a close watch on the health of the minister.
The medical superintendent of AIIMS Rishikesh, Dr Satya Shri informed that the minister was admitted to the ICU of the hospital on Wednesday. She said that the minister is suffering from mild pneumonia for which antibiotics are being given. Dr Satya said all the vitals of Maharaj are normal and his condition is stable. She said that the condition of the minister is fast improving.
Meanwhile, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited AIIMS Rishikesh on Thursday where he met Maharaj. He inquired about his health and directed the hospital administration to provide best possible treatment to him. The MS of AIIMS Rishikesh informed the CM about the health of the minister.
Local MLA Premchad Aggarwal and the chairwoman of the Uttarakhand State Commission for Women Kusum Kandwal also met Maharaj in the hospital.
