A 30-year-old man was arrested by Nehru Colony police in Dehradun for allegedly committing an unnatural act with a cow.
According to police, the incident came to light on July 11 after Vishal Pal, a resident of Ashok Vihar, along with some local people, brought the accused to Nehru Colony police station and filed a complaint. The complainant alleged that the man, identified as Surendra, had committed the act in an open area beneath the railway crossing flyover.
Police said that some local residents had recorded the incident on video. The accused has been identified as Surendra, a resident of Ashok Vihar near Kanishk Hospital. Based on the complaint, the police arrested the accused and registered an FIR under Section 11(3) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Police said that further legal action is being taken in the case.
