NDUSSL seminar: Milk producers to get Rs 2 hike

The Nainital Dugdh Utpadak Sahakari Sangh Limited (NDUSSL) announced that the price of their milk would be increased by Rs 2 per litre from April 15-a move which he believed would boost the milk producers, particularly the women among them. He made this announcement while addressing a programme commemorating the International Women’s Day here on Wednesday.  During this, a seminar on clean milk was also organised. Further, cheques were also distributed among the milk producers under the district plan. NDUSSL members said that over 800 milk producers were present on the occasion. Also, women engaged in dairy business were felicitated.  

Bora highlighted the importance of clean and quality milk production, saying that milk quality is the hallmark of the dairy business. He also lauded the efforts of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Milk Development minister Saurabh Bahuguna, saying that the  dairy business is getting a new direction thanks to their initiatives.
