Prime Minister Narendra Modi called chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami over phone to take information about the natural disaster in Dharali area of Uttarkashi and the status of the rescue and relief operations.
Dhami told the PM that the State government is actively engaged in relief and rescue operations. He said that continuous rainfall has caused hindrance in some areas but all the agencies are working in coordination to provide immediate relief to the affected areas. PM Modi assured the CM that every possible assistance will be provided to the State.
