Postal Dept to hold Dak Adalat on March 30 to address grievances

The Uttarakhand Circle of the Postal department will organise a quarterly Dak Adalat on March 30, at 4 PM to address customer feedback and grievances. According officials, complaints must be based on clear and complete facts. Issues concerning registered postal services, parcels and savings are invited by March 27. All complaints should be directed to the designated officer listed in the respective blocks. Separate letters are required for each complaint and each letter must clearly state ‘Complaint for Postal Adalat’, they added.
Officials further said that the Dak Adalat will not accept complaints in cases that have already been decided by the court, are pending in the consumer forum, have been settled by the Directorate General of Posts or have already been included in the postal court. Additionally, complaints that are unclear will not be accepted, officials added.
