Prez to address second convocation of University of Patanjali

The University of Patanjali is now busy preparing for its second convocation to be held on November 2. President Droupadi Murmu will attend and address it as the chief guest.  Among others who will be present on the occasion as special guests are the Governor, Lt Gen (retd) Gurmit Singh, chief minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami and Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat.  This aside, the chancellor of the university, Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev and the vice-chancellor Acharya Balkrishna will be present and address the students.

In this ceremony, gold medals will be awarded to 54 students while PhDs will be awarded to 62 research scholars, D Litt to three scholars and degrees to a total of 1424 students, including 744 graduates and 615 post -graduates.

The university sources said that this convocation would not only be a moment of pride and achievement for the students but also prove to be a golden chapter in its academic journey.   Based on the fulcrum of modern knowledge, yoga and the timeless tenets of Indian culture, the University of Patanjali continues to strive to blend seamlessly academic excellence with the Vedic tradition and the second convocation would prove to be another inspiring milestone in this direction, sources added.
