The Raipur MLA, Umesh Sharma Kau started the construction of the bridge being built by the Public Works Department on a river near the War Memorial Boys and Girls Hostel at Danda Lakhound in Raipur at an estimated cost of Rs four crore with the State Plan funds. After the ritualistic puja was performed, he said that
the work has already started and soon the local people would get its benefits.
On this occasion, a large number of locals, particularly women, and PWD officers were present.
