A native of Lwara (Guptkashi) in Rudraprayag district, Dwarika Prasad who is currently serving as the divisional transport officer (Administration) and RTA secretary in Garhwal Division, Pauri, has been awarded the Uttarakhand Public Service Vibhushan Award 2025 for his years of outstanding service and contributions to the public good. Born into a farming family, Dwarika Prasad was educated in village schools.
Those who selected him for the award hailed his 20 years of administrative excellence. “His dedication to guiding youth and raising social awareness makes him more than just an officer, a public servant,” one of them added.
