DAV PG College declared the second merit list of the college for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate courses on its official website. This list includes the names of students who did not select the correct combination according to CUET domain subject mapping.
On July 19, HNB Garhwal University launched the registration process for the first year of BA, BSc, BCom, BSc IT and LLB on the Samarth Portal for the first time, at affiliated colleges. Following this, the first merit list was released by the affiliated colleges and the admission process commenced accordingly. However, there were fewer students on the merit list due to low registration, which resulted in many vacant seats in the college. Similar situations were observed in other affiliated colleges as well.
To address the issue of vacant seats, HNB Garhwal University reopened the registration process on the Samarth Portal from August 22 to August 25. During the initial registration process, only students who appeared for the CUET-UG 2025 exam—results of which were recently announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA)—were eligible for admission.
In the reopened registration process, the university notified that all candidates who took the CUET-UG 2025 and are interested in admissions to UG programs in campuses and affiliated colleges of the university for the academic session 2025-26 must ensure their registration on the Samarth Portal, especially those who did not select the correct combination according to CUET domain subject mapping.
DAV PG College media in-charge and professor Prashant Singh informed that the reopened registration process has recently concluded. Consequently, the university provided the names of students (non-CUET subject mapping) to the college. Considering this, the college administration declared the second merit list for the said courses on Thursday.
