Following the superannuation of the director Secondary Education Mukul Kumar Sati on Tuesday who also was holding additional charge of director of the Primary Education, the Education department has assigned new responsibilities to the officers.
As per the order, Vinod Prasad Semalti has been appointed as the director in-charge of the Secondary Education directorate. Meanwhile, KS Rawat has been given the additional responsibility of director in-charge of Primary Education and additional project director, Samagra Shiksha, along with his current responsibilities.
Similarly, Vinod Kumar Dhoundiyal has been made the in-charge secretary of Uttarakhand Vidhyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP), Ramnagar. The department has appointed Govind Ram Jaiswal as officiating chief education officer.
Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that assigning new responsibilities to experienced officers will further accelerate the administrative work of the Education department and help effectively manage the state’s education system. “These appointments will strengthen departmental coordination and give new direction to efforts to provide quality education to students,’’ he said.
