Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that in the last four and half years, the State government has provided government jobs to more than 34,000 youngsters.
He was addressing a programme at his residence in which he handed over appointment letters to 182 candidates selected in the PCS Main Examination-2024 conducted by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and five candidates selected for the post of Personal Assistant in the Agriculture department on Friday.
He said that the government’s youth-friendly commitment has grown stronger with 187 more youth getting government jobs today.
The CM told the young officers that the appointment letter is not merely a document of entry into government service, but a symbol of the trust, expectations and commitment to public service of the 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand. He said that every new officer will be identified not by his position, but by his work style, sensitivity and dedication to public service.
Dhami said that the State government is working with the mantra of simplification, resolution, resolution and satisfaction. He called upon the newly appointed officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes and services reach the last person in society with sensitivity and transparency. He averred that the State government implemented the country’s most stringent anti-copying law to ensure complete transparency in recruitment processes.
He said that the State government’s goal is to provide opportunities to every youth in Uttarakhand commensurate with their talents and abilities, so that they are not forced to leave the state in search of employment.
Cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi, Dhan Singh Rawat, Ram Singh Kaida, MLAs Savita Kapoor and others attended the programme.
