Traffic diversion plan announced for Modi’s Doon visit on April 14

A traffic diversion plan has been issued for April 14 considering the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on that day. The police have made special arrangements to ensure smooth movement and avoid traffic jams in the city.
According to the plan, vehicles going from Dehradun to Saharanpur, Roorkee and Delhi will be diverted through Shimla Bypass, Nayagaon Road and Dharamawala Chowk via Behat. Another route for these vehicles will be from Rispana Bridge through Jogiwala, Lal Tappar, Raiwala and Haridwar. Vehicles heading towards Chhutmalpur and Biharigarh will follow the Shimla Bypass and Shakumbhari Devi route.
Meanwhile, vehicles coming to Dehradun and Mussoorie from Delhi, Saharanpur and Roorkee will pass through Chhutmalpur, Behat and Premnagar The police have stated that the Dehradun–Roorkee route via Bhagwanpur will remain closed for all vehicles during the PM’s visit. People have been advised to follow the diversion plan and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. According to official sources, the traffic plan for Dehradun city is expected to be issued on Sunday.
