The UJVN Limited managing director Ajay Kumar Singh inspected the Dhakrani Hydroelectric project on Thursday. He reviewed the progress of the ongoing modernisation, renovation and upgradation (RMU) works at the project.
In a review meeting held after the inspection, he directed the officials and representatives of the executing agency to expedite the work. He clarified that all pending work, including machine number 3, must be completed by May 20.
Singh directed all officials concerned to work in perfect coordination to meet the deadline while maintaining quality as part of the corporation’s top priorities.
During the inspection, he also visited the newly constructed, state-of-the-art conference hall at the Dhakrani power house. “Real-time data sharing and virtual meetings will enable effective communication with remote projects,” he said and added this facility would speed up the corporation’s operations and make decision-making more transparent and effective.
