GBPUAT holds farmer training under Buffalo Improvement Project

A farmer training programme was organised at village Kewalganj, Gadarpur under the Network Project on Buffalo Improvement funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes, Karnal at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. While the
department head of the university. D Kumar inaugurated it the project officer A.K. Ghosh conducted it.

The experts present on the occasion provided information on buffalo breed improvement, balanced diets, parasitic disease control, artificial insemination, prenatal and postnatal care, and advanced management techniques.

A total of 51 livestock farmers participated in the camp. Mineral mixtures, calcium and deworming medicines along with other useful materials were distributed among 40 participants.
