The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stated on Tuesday that despite BJP having a double engine government at the Centre and in the State, its government has failed to provide ‘Achhe Din’ and safety to people.
The AAP media in-charge of Garhwal division Ravindra Singh Anand said that BJP had promised ‘Achhe Din’ to the public before the Uttarakhand assembly elections but the public have been seeing only the worst days since the BJP won elections. He said that the condition of the common man is getting worse at every front in the State. He said, “The crimes are now being committed in broad daylight in various districts of the State.
The cases like security lapses in the security of minister Saurabh Bahuguna, dacoity in the house of cabinet minister Premchand Agarwal’s cousin and the murder of a stone crusher owner in broad daylight in Udham Singh Nagar shows the level of active crime in the State. When the government has failed to prevent crime and in providing security to such prominent people, what a common man would expect from them for its own safety.”
