Four arrested for armed robbery in factory at SIIDCUL

The police have arrested four persons accused of looting goods from the aluminium goods manufacturing company in the wee hours of Saturday. Haridwar senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh informed that four men had been arrested and stolen goods worth Rs 40 lakh were recovered from them. The accused who had carried out the crime are residents of different villages of Saharanpur district in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh and were doing scrap work in SIIDCUL and Jwalapur areas for a long time.The police team is still conducting searches for the three absconding accused in the case.
The SSP informed the media that seven men had had barged into the Fine Automotive Company located in SIIDCUL and beat up four security personnel before looting aluminum radiators worth Rs 40 lakh. The police team carrying out the investigation in the case arrested the suspects Asif alias Pushpa and Farman – both current residents of Jwalapur with illegal 315 bore pistol, cartridges and knives on the basis of investigation and tip off from informers. On being interrogated, the accused confessed to their involvement in the armed robbery. After this, the police raided Asif’s scrap warehouse and nabbed Guddu and Amzad- both Jwalapur residents at present. The police were able to recover all the stolen items.
