In view of ongoing Char Dham Yatra and upcoming monsoon, Dhami govt bans strike of employees for six months

In breaking news from Uttarakhand, the State government in an important decision has banned strike for six months involving the employees of all the government departments of the State in view of the ongoing Char Dham Yatra, the upcoming monsoon season and possible rain-triggered disasters. The Secretary, Personnel Sailesh Bagauli has issued the government notification in the matter. As per the notification, the State government has banned strike for six months in all the government departments under sub-section 1 of the Section 3 of Uttar Pradesh Maintenance of Essential Services Act 1966 (added in the state of Uttarakhand) with the approval of the Governor.
