With confusion lingering for some days on the official Deepawali holiday in Uttarakhand, the secretary, General Administration, Deependra Kumar Chaudhary passed an order on Tuesday, stating that October 31 is being declared as the official State holiday instead of the previously declared November 1.
The order further said that all the government offices will remain open on November 1.
