The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed senior officers of the Personnel and Vigilance departments to draft a social media policy for the government employees to check the latters’ social media over activity and tendency to upload controversial posts.
Informing this, the principal secretary to the CM R K Sudhanshu said that the draft would be prepared in two weeks, adding that the social media posts of the government employees are being monitored. Notably, a teacher of a government school was suspended for posting inflammatory posts on social media.
