The Union minister of State, Ajay Tamta emphasised widening roads and building bridges to solve the recurring traffic congestions inconveniencing the pilgrims for Kainchi Dham while chairing a meeting here. The Nainital district magistrate Vandana who attended the meeting suggested widening of roads in Ranibagh and Gulab Ghati and building a bridge on Kalasia nala. Thereafter, a team of National Highways Authority of India inspected the stretch of road from Ranibagh and Jeolikot to study the feasibility of the mooted plans.
