PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/Dehradun
The results of the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) conducted as part of the Indian Army recruitment process will be declared within three to four days. All candidates are requested to check their results on the official Indian Army website (joinindianarmy.nic.in) as well as their email accounts.
Defence PRO lieutenant colonel Chetan Singh Kabsuri informed that candidates from all districts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand – applying under the central category (Religious Teacher, JCO Catering, Education Havildar and Havildar Survey Auto Carto) and zonal category (Sepoy Pharma and Nursing Assistant) – are hereby informed that the physical fitness test will be conducted on July 25 and 26 at Somnath Ground in Ranikhet. As part of this process, the candidates’ documents will also be verified. The candidates are required to carry the originals of all documents, along with three photocopies of each and 20 passport-sized photographs (not older than three months). Possession of original documents is mandatory for entry into the recruitment rally. These documents include Aadhaar card and mobile phone number linked to it, educational certificates and marksheets, caste certificate, permanent resident certificate, unmarried status certificate, character certificate and online police verification issued within the last year. Failure to produce these documents will result in the candidate being barred from participating in the race.
In addition to the categories mentioned above, the physical efficiency test for the Agniveer category – for candidates from four districts of Uttarakhand (Almora, Bageshwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar) – will be held at Somnath Ground, Ranikhet, starting on July 27. For the Agniveer category, candidates belonging to the Kumaoni community must ensure that their caste certificate explicitly states “Kumaoni caste” rather than merely indicating that they belong to the Kumaon region. If a candidate is caught submitting any forged documents, a police complaint will be lodged against them and their candidature will be cancelled. For any clarifications, candidates may contact the army recruitment office at 9458 168520, 05962-297192 or 05962-298449.
