Congress gears up to make RaGa’s programme in Doon, a success

Uttarakhand Congress has plunged itself to make the ‘Chhatraon Ki Goonj’ programme of leader of opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi a grand success. The programme is scheduled on July 17 in Dehradun.
In this context, a meeting of senior leaders of Dehradun Mahanagar Congress was held at the Congress Bhawan on Monday. The meeting was chaired by Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Ganesh Godiyal.
Addressing the meeting, Godiyal said that on July 17, LoP in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, will interact with students in Dehradun and urge them to fight for youth and student interests. He said that the country’s youth are bearing the brunt of the failures of the BJP’s governments at the centre and State. “Despite years of study and hard work, they are not receiving the desired results, forcing them to commit suicide. Rahul Gandhi has understood this suffering of the youth and has taken up the responsibility of fighting for their cause,’’ he said.
Godiyal claimed that the ‘Chhatraon Ki Goonj’ programme will be historic and efforts will be made to convey its message to every youth. He also urged all young colleagues to participate in the program.
Former cabinet minister Navprabhat, State vice president Suryakant Dhasmana, treasurer Aryendra Sharma, general secretary Godavari Thapali, Surendra Rangad, Pradeep Pokhriyal, Naveen Joshi, Yakub Siddiqui, Mahendra Singh Negi, Mahila Congress president Jyoti Rautela, Mahanagar president Jaswinder Singh Gogi and others attended the meeting.
