Dhanvantari Dham Herbal World Himalaya becomes centre of global Ayurveda: CM

To mark Harela festival slated to start on July 16, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami led a tree plantation programme while inaugurating Shri Dhanvantari Dham Herbal World Himalaya here on Tuesday. Lauding the institute, he said that it is a true tribute to Lord Dhanvantari, the father of Ayurveda and the eternal symbol of health.
Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, who was present on the occasion, said that this facility will be the world’s first living herbal garden, where plants will be collected from diverse geographical regions. “Herbal World Himalaya is not just a centre for flora, it is a movement for global health and environmental awareness,” he added.
Acharya Balkrishna said that this Dham will have nine medical systems properly incorporated. “Herbal World Himalaya is a historic initiative and a bridge between the past and the future,” he added.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Dhami said that this place will certainly be a source of inspiration for students as well as scientists, researchers, educators and those seeking knowledge. “Visitors will not only see plants but also experience the connection between nature and knowledge. This is a significant step toward establishing Uttarakhand not just as a herbal State but as a global hub for herbal knowledge, research, and eco-innovation,” he stated.
