Drug-Free Youth for Developed India campaign launched at SVU

The Sri Venkateshwara University launched a Drug-Free Youth for Developed India campaign on Sunday. Venkateshwara Group founder chairman Sudhir Giri said that more than a dozen programmes including awareness seminars, street plays and poster exhibitions will be organised in this campaign starting on Sunday and continuing for the entire year.
“Along with education, health, skill development, the Drug-Free Youth for Developed India campaign will play the most important role in making India the youngest country in the world, a developed India @ 2047,” he said.
“The war against drug addiction cannot be started only by the government enacting stringent anti-drug laws.Educational institutions, social and voluntary organisations as well as every citizen of the country will have to take personal responsibility,” university pro-chancellor Rajiv Tyagi said.
