The State Government has claimed that the Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar has reached more than six lakh people in Uttarakhand so far. According to officials, more than 1.34 people were involved in the second phase of this campaign.
The campaign is being undertaken across the State on the directions of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Officials informed that citizens are being provided swift resolution to their grievances while other aspects like provision of social welfare pension, Ayushman card, medical equipment, farming equipment and other services are being provided free of cost to the public. Special camps are being organised at the Tehsil, block and district levels to facilitate redressal of public grievances by officials concerned in the presence of public representatives. The officials further averred that 198 camps have been held since this camp began on July 4. Despite the monsoon, more than 1.34 lakh people attended these camps. More than 23,219 public grievances received in these camps were resolved on the spot, while more than 81,000 citizens were made beneficiaries of various governmental schemes, the officials claimed.
Dhami has been consistently stressing on ensuring that the citizens are provided the solution to their problems at their doorstep instead of being made to repeatedly visit government offices.
The CM said, “The administration itself is going among the masses and acting to swiftly resolve their issues under this campaign. Those eligible for governmental welfare schemes are being provided the benefit on the spot. Our government is committed to working consistently on the principle of simplification, solution and the satisfaction of the public,” Dhami said.
