The joint meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s State front and cells concluded today with the resolution to cross 60 seats for the third time in the 2027 Vidhan Sabha elections.

The party’s national vice president and State in-charge Ram Madhav said, “The party will adopt the strategy to achieve a victory based on the good governance established by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the State and achieve a hat-trick of victories.” Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “The lies of Rahul Gandhi and the opposition are being exposed repeatedly before the public. No one takes them seriously, which is why they have entered the electoral fray with the help of comedians who make indecent remarks.” Co-in-charge Arvind Menon appealed to all party workers to mobilise in the elections based on the basic principles of communication, coordination, and cooperation. The party’s State president Mahendra Prasad Bhatt assured the central leadership of a third consecutive victory in Uttarakhand.

Addressing the meeting, Madhav urged the workers to establish direct communication with the public based on their achievements. He said, “Our governments in the Centre and State have set the example of good governance. CM Dhami has also established this ideal in Uttarakhand. PM Modi started this in Gujarat and reformed the government even in difficult circumstances like natural disasters. Since then, he has repeatedly set the example of elections based on good governance, which has become the best strategy in politics. All our governments have followed this principle, and today, our governments are being re-elected, developing one State after another. The same is going to happen in Uttarakhand, where we will move forward towards fulfilling our resolve to surpass 60 seats for the third time. In the last 4.5 years, our government has achieved unprecedented development and public welfare, and through its active organisation, our work has become stronger than ever before. But now it is election time, and we will have to change our working style. In the next four to six months, we must work politically to achieve our targeted results,” he said.

Dhami said that through the “Jan Jan Ki Sarkar” campaign, the effort has been undertaken for door-to-door action to address people’s problems. In the two phases so far, 6.5 lakh people have participated, and the organisation’s role has been excellent. “We will soon launch a third phase of this campaign. The role of the party’s fronts and cells is commendable as in the case of the SC front, which exposed the opposition’s casteist thinking in the Haldwani incident. Attempts were made to spread lies in several other cases, including those by nation level leaders including Rahul Gandhi, who came to Dehradun and lied that no action had been taken against the corrupt and copy mafia in the State,” he said.

Bhatt urged all fronts and cells to disseminate the government’s achievements and the organization’s work with facts to the grassroots. He said, “Our activism shouldn’t be limited to forums and events; we must also ensure that the benefits and impact of the schemes reach the common people.” He directed all fronts, whether women’s, youth, SC/ST, minorities, OBCs, or farmers, to disseminate the government’s schemes and achievements to their respective groups. He also urged the cells to promote the discussion of the party’s work and the government’s achievements among every member of society.
