BJP’s 4,500 kms Vijay Sankalp Yatra to start today

Through the Vijay Sankalp Yatra starting on Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party will given an account to the people of the development works done by the state government with the help of the centre. The party’s national president JP Nadda and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will flag off this initiative for the Garhwal region from Haridwar today, said BJP state president Madan Kaushik. He said that the BJP government had provided more than eight lakh jobs and done major works in education, health, connectivity, women welfare and the welfare of soldiers and their families.
The Vijay Sankalp Yatra will cover about 4,500 kilometres and also elicit focus on the failures of the past Congress governments. After the Yatra is flagged off on Saturday from Har Ki Paidi, the Kumaon leg of the Yatra will be flagged off on Sunday from Bageshwar by Union minister Anurag Thakur. Kaushik informed that Union Home minister Amit Shah and other Union ministers and state ministers will participate in this Yatra from time to time. The Vijay Sankalp Yatra will cover 2,660 kilometres in Garhwal and 1,890 kilometres in Kumaon. Further, 70 LED screen vehicles will also be launched to publicise the works of the state and central governments. Suggestion boxes will also be kept in all the publicity vehicles for suggestions from the general public.
