Very light to light rain/snowfall forecast in parts of state today

With the weather clearing after considerable snowfall in recent days, a number of visitors are enjoying skiing and other snow sports on the slopes of Auli. The weather here has cleared since Sunday afternoon following two days of rain and snowfall. There is about two feet snow in Auli and more than two feet in Badrinath. Skier Vijendra Rawat said that considering the good snowfall in Auli, snow sports enthusiasts should visit Auli to enjoy the same.
Meanwhile, the meteorological centre has forecast very light to light rain/snowfall at isolated places in the districts of the state on Monday. Snowfall is likely to occur at places situated at altitudes of 3,000 metres and above. The provisional state capital Dehradun is forecast to experience partly cloudy skies with possibility of very light to light rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures are forecast to be about 21 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius in Dehradun on Monday.
