Allegations leveled by the Laksar sitting MLA and BJP candidate Sanjay Gupta against the party’s state president Madan Kaushik and by Kashipur MLA HS Cheema and Champawat MLA Kailash Gahtori regarding sabotage by some local party workers have been taken seriously by the party organisation. The BJP state vice president Devendra Bhasin confirmed that the matter had been referred to the party’s high command. The party’s state spokesman Ravinder Jugran said that the party in-charges at the centre and state will definitely take cognisance of the allegations. “First the truth has to be ascertained. The central and state leaders of the party will first confirm the facts and then arrive at their decision,” he said.
